WTF @ total recall AND hellraiser being remade?

There HAS to be some writers coming up with new ideas. Why does everything now has to be a crappier verison of the original?

Oh And nightmare on elm street is getting remade too!

I am okay with books to movies but these remakes and remakes of remakes is getting old.
